A Quick Tip for Launching a Brand, Product, or Service

brand launching tips

When it’s time to launch just about anything, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. There are so many moving parts, so many decisions, and so many possibilities that it can be hard to know where to start. So today, I’m sharing one of my favorite launch tips.

AND, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO 📣

My biggest tip for launching a brand, product, or service? Use the seasons.

Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall already provide a natural framework for your marketing. We’re accustomed to the rhythm of the seasons in our everyday lives through weather, holidays, travel, fashion, and routines. Why not use that same rhythm in your business?

The beauty of seasonal launches is that they instantly give your audience context and make your messaging feel timely and relevant.

You can use the characteristics of each season and connect them to your offer.

🌻 FOR EXAMPLE, A SPRING LAUNCH:

Think growth, fresh starts, transformation, and things beginning to bloom.

Example: “This spring, plant the seeds for a business you’ll be proud of by next year.”

☀️ a summer LAUNCH:

Think action, adventure, momentum, and creating the life you want.

Example: “By next summer, you’ll be able to spend less time working and more time enjoying the life you’ve built.”

🍁 a fall LAUNCH:

Think harvesting results, refining skills, and preparing for what's next.

Example: “You’ve spent all year planting the seeds. Now it’s time to harvest the results.”

❄️ a winter LAUNCH:

Think reflection, planning, goal setting, and building strong foundations.

Example: “While everyone else is hibernating, let’s build the foundation for your biggest year yet.”

In summary, tie the seasons into your launch messaging in whatever way makes sense for your business. There’s no right or wrong approach. You can also layer in seasonal holidays and events to create even more targeted marketing campaigns.

My advice? Pick a season, stop overthinking it, and give yourself at least three months to plan your launch with intention.
