Don’t Ignore Your Milestones

when to rebrand

2025 marked the 25th anniversary of my high school graduation. Class of 2000 👩🏽‍🎓. The Millennium Class. We thought we were extra special. 😂 But last year, I let the milestone go by, and that got me thinking…

What other life and business milestones have I wasted?

That high school version of me had big dreams, questionable outfits, and no idea where life would actually take her. And that’s exactly how it should’ve been back when I was 16 (yes, I graduated at 16, I’m an overachiever). Now, as a 42-year-old business owner, I don’t want to be frozen in my starter era. I want to assess where I’ve been and where I’m going.

Milestones are moments to audit. To ask the uncomfortable-but-necessary questions:

+ Does my brand still match my ambition?
+ Does it attract the clients I actually want now?
+ Am I stuck in a version of me that no longer exists?

When you evolve but your brand doesn’t, friction shows up, making marketing and finding ideal clients harder than it should be. Milestones aren’t just about nostalgia; they’re recalibration.

Is it time to recalibrate?
